The plant, which is being manufactured by the consortium, established with the participation of HUM MÜHENDİSLİK LTD. (HUM) and the German company Lurgi Life Science GmbH (LURGI), is being designed by LURGI technology, which is the leader in vegetable oil technologies in the world. Manufacturing and project application of some machinery and equipment of the plant, of which machines and equipments will be supplied by LURGI, shall be carried out by HUM, the Turkish Company, who has served vegetable oil sector for 40 years.

Manufacturing of the machinery and equipment of the plant, where the most advanced technologies shall be used, has started. It is planned that the plant, comprised of semi-continuous bleaching and deodorization units, with capacity of 200 tons/day, shall start production in the second half of 2003.
